| The
course is run over a 7 to 10 day period.
The
7 day course is for students who have already
completed there 'Yacht Crew' (ASA 101+103)
certification. In the 7 day course you will
continue with the ASA 104 module which will involve 6
days instruction with a day off to relax. At the end
of the course you will also be awarded your
'International Certificate of Proficiency'
The
10 day course is for students who have a basic
knowledge of sailing and wish to obtain in a Bare boat
Skipper Certificate. The course is an intense fast
track style, teaching the ASA Modules 101+103+104.
Once completed you will also be awarded your
'International Certificate of Proficiency'
We
have found that those who have sailing experience, but
have not done the 'Yacht Crew' course, have
often missed being taught some of the basics. If this
applies to you, we would suggest that you obtain and
read the ASA Sailing Fundamentals by Gary Jobson
before coming on board.
